Andrew Bruno

Software engineer · Solutions architect · Engineering leader

Engineering leader, software engineer at heart.

I turn complex customer problems into production-ready software, whether the role is called lead, staff or principal engineer, solutions architect or forward deployed engineer. Agentic AI is a core part of how I engineer software, from design and development through to testing and verification.

Now: Principal Data Migration & Integration Engineer at AGPAL & QIP, consulting as a Forward Deployed Engineer and Principal Consultant through my own consultancy, Vacodi. Open to the next forward-deployed engagement, contract or permanent. Brisbane, Melbourne, remote.

Contact

Greenfield, scale-up or legacy, I am interested.

A start-up building its first platform, a product team with more to build, or an established system that needs untangling: the work I enjoy is the same in each, understanding the business and shipping software it can run on. Contract or permanent, Brisbane, Melbourne or remote, with a residence in both cities so no relocation is needed for either.
